No JH Girls Basketball game tonight. There is a game tomorrow 12/12/23 Vs Lakers. Game time 4pm.

Deckerville will be hosting Owen Gage Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys with a start time of 6:00pm in the HS gym.

The junior class is looking for donations of white Christmas lights for the annual Holiday Dance. The donation of new or used white lights can be dropped off in the high school office. The lights will be used each year and passed down from class to class.

The High School Winter Formal will be Friday Dec 8th from 7PM to 10PM. We are in need of some decoration donations of pre lit trees. Please contact the office if you would be willing to let us borrow your pre lit trees.

Deckerville football has advanced to the Semi-Finals in Playoff where they will take on the Adrian Lenawee Christian Cougars (Cougar field 111 Wolf Creek Hwy, Adrian, MI 49221). November 3, 2023 - Elementary Social-Emotional Learning Specialist - Interested candidates are to send a letter of application, resume, transcripts, and credentials to: Aaron Sutherland, Principal, Deckerville Elementary School, 2633 Black River St. Deckerville, MI 48427 - The deadline for applications is 3:00 p.m., November 13, 2023. - PREFERRED: BA in Psychology or School Social Work Credential - JOB DESCRIPTION: *An educator who specializes in social emotional learning (SEL) can help foster the attitudes and values needed to help students acquire these life skills and become more thoughtful human beings, helping set them up for future success. * Will work with children to improve their interaction skills and work with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). They may help a child develop social skills, control motor movements, and develop life skills. * This will be a 2-year grant funded contract for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 - *This position for the 2025-26 school year is TBD, pending grant funding.
