There was a skyward update released over the summer that broke the skyward mobile app. Skyward's fix was to remove the app from your phone and reinstall it. As of today, this fix is not working. We were not given a timeline of when the app will be fixed.

Parent/Student access is currently disabled until August 15th. After that date, the links at the top of the school webpage should be used until further notice.

We will have new guidelines for personal electronics at Deckerville Jr/Sr High School this year. Please make yourself familiar with them. Thank you!

The Thumb Community Health Partnership is excited to offer SCRUB IN! CMU Nursing Experience: The Next Step in Your Nursing Journey on Tuesday, August 18, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Central Michigan University's Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions. This FREE event is open to students entering grades 9–12 from the Thumb region, and transportation will be provided.

Students will have the opportunity to:

Explore CMU's nursing program and simulation labs
Practice hands-on nursing skills
Participate in clinical learning activities
Meet CMU nursing faculty and current students
Experience what it's like to attend nursing school
We would greatly appreciate it if you could share the attached flyer with students and families, and anyone who may be interested in pursuing a career in nursing or healthcare.

POSITION OPENING: (1) Cook - Hours: 4 hours per day - 8:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Rate: $14.54/Hour - Start Date: August 25, 2026 - Position contingent on successful completion and passing of Serv-Safe online course or possession of Serv-Safe certificate. Tuesday, June 2 - 1st, 2nd, and 5th hour
Wednesday, June 3 - 6th & 7th hour (Half Day 12:15 PM dismissal)
Thursday, June 4 - 4th & 3rd hour (11:30 AM dismissal)

Summer School will begin Monday, June 8, 8 AM - 3 PM.

Elementary yearbooks were passed out today.
If anyone is interested in purchasing an elementary yearbook, there are still some available in the elementary office with Susie Trigger for $25.00.
