Just a reminder to the seniors filling out the Education Foundation Scholarship - they are due to Mrs. Ford on Friday, April 17, 2026, by 3:00 p.m.
Deckerville will begin charging admission for all Spring sports. This will go into effect staring today (4/9) and will be the same admission as all other sports, $5. All passes are valid, and students still have free admission. The Athletic Department has lost too much money during spring sports over the years and needs to try and receive some funds back to afford referee costs.

Good morning Deckerville Eagle Families. TODAY, Friday March 13, 2026 school will be dismissed EARLY at 12:30pm due to the changeover from snow to rain this afternoon. This snow/rain mix will create slippery main roads and slushy backroads.
* All after school activities are cancelled.
Deckerville Community Schools will be dismissing at 12:30 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026. All after school activates are cancelled.
Hello Parents and Students,
I wanted all parents of seniors to be aware that on March 17 during 5th and 6th hours, seniors will be participating in a “Mock Interview.” Over 25 local business people, entrepreneurs, hiring managers from all over the county have agreed to come in and participate in this real-life experience. Seniors have been working on making resumes and practicing common interview questions. Some of the people that are coming in have hinted that they may be hiring in the near future...great opportunities for students that want to go directly into workforce. Also, great opportunity to ‘network’ with future career prospects after training/degree earned.
The event starts around 12:30 and will end shortly after 2pm. This event will be a grade. They will see three different people and talk with them for around 20 minutes each. I have encouraged the students to ‘dress’ up a bit.
I know students may feel a little ‘stressed’ leading up to this event, but I think the more experience students get early on, the more they will be successful when they are out on their own.
Sincerely,
Jaime Nicol
