Good afternoon Deckerville Eagle families, the following after school activities will proceed as planned today (Tuesday January 21 ): practices for the boys Freshmen, JV, and Varsity basketball teams and the girls JV and Varsity basketball home games. No junior high boys basketball practice. Food Service: the planned menu for Wednesday January 21, 2026 will be French toast sticks, sausage patty, hash brown.

Good evening Deckerville Eagle families. School will be canceled tomorrow (Tuesday January 20, 2026) due to hazardous road conditions. We are receiving reports of icy main roads, closing/plugged backroads, heavy drifting, and persistent white out conditions, due to sustained winds. A decision on all afterschool activities will be made by 1:00 pm tomorrow.

All practices are cancelled for this afternoon (Monday January 19, 2026) due to deteriorating roads conditions with wide spread white outs.

From Food Service: 1st choice when school resumes will be popcorn chicken.

Good morning Deckerville Eagle families. Today, Thursday January 15, 2026 school is canceled due to the combination of lake effect snow, negative windchill, and hazardous driving conditions. A decision on all afterschool activities will be made by 1:00 pm.

Due to road conditions the JH Boys Basketball game in Ubly will be canceled as well this evening. Make up game will be determined at a later time.

Tonight's JV/Varsity Boys game in Bay City has been cancelled. Make up game has yet TBD. There will not be boys practices this evening. Girls JV/Varsity will practice as scheduled. The JH Boys games in Ubly will continue as scheduled.

Tonight's 7th grade boys basketball game in Carsonville -Port Sanilac has been canceled. Practice will be at 4PM in the HS gym.

Good afternoon Eagle families. All after school activities for today (Jan 7) will continue as scheduled. Also, Food Service will skip today’s menu options and will plan on serving pancakes for tomorrow and Friday will be chicken nuggets. Thank you.

Due to wide spread hazardous backroad conditions, Deckerville Schools will be closed today, Wednesday January 7. A decision on after school activities will be made by 1:00pm.

Hallway decorating will begin January 15 after school (Half-Day dismissal)

The boys JV and Varsity basketball games on Friday 12/19/25 are now away. @ CPS. JV will start at 6PM.

High School Exams begin tomorrow, December 16.
Tuesday, December 16 - 1st & 4th hours
Wednesday, December 17 - 2nd & 5th hours
Thursday, December 18 - 3rd and 7th hours
Friday, December 19 - 6th hour.
Studying for exams is very important!

The Junior/Senior High School Holiday Dress Up Days for December 15-19.

The JH Girls Basketball game for tomorrow night in Lakers has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

The Christmas band concert has been moved to Thursday, December 11 at 7 PM and the home varsity girls basketball game has been moved to Friday December 12 at 6 PM.
