Last weekend, the school participated in the Garden Stroll hosted by DCDC as part of Deckerville’s homecoming. It was a great event that allowed the community to get a glimpse of what the ag science class was up to last school year. Please come by and take advantage of this free community resource. There are lots of bell peppers, California sweet peppers, jalapeños, and tomatoes!
Deckerville Elementary girls basketball: 3rd-6th grade girls will have an open gym this coming Monday, July 28th from 6-7:30pm in high school gym.

The students of Deckerville Jr/Sr High School have the opportunity to dump a bucket of ice water over a staff member's head on Monday, June 9. The students must raise $100 for every staff member they wish to perform the "Ice Bucket Challenge." Donations are being taken each day at lunch.

Today's Baseball game in Peck has been postponed until Tuesday 5/27 (in Peck at 4pm). As a result of this schedule change the Baseball game in Ubly on 5/27 has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
All Deckerville Sporting events are canceled for this evening. No word on any rescheduling of these events.
Exam exemption forms for students in grade 9-11 will be available starting Friday, May 23.
To qualify for exam exemptions the student must:
1. Have five or less absences prior to the test date. ALL absences from class, except for prearranged school sponsored activities, will count toward these five days. NO EXCEPTIONS will be granted.
2. Students must have less than 6 tardies in the 4th marking period.
2. Have zero discipline points for the 4th marking period and semester.
3. Have a B- or higher grade for the 4th marking period and semester.
4. Have a parental signature on file noting approval to opt out of the semester exam.

Wednesday, June 4 - Last Day for Career Center - 5th hour exam
Thursday, June 5 - 12:15 dismissal - 6th & 7th hour exams (Last day for lunch)
Friday, June 6 - 11:30 dismissal - 4th and 3rd hour exams
Monday, June 9 - 11:30 dismissal - 1st & 2nd hour exams

Dryden will be charging a $5.00 admission for the JH Track meet tonight.
