Good morning Deckerville Eagle families. School will be cancelled today (Friday March 22) for several factors. There is a lot of illness going around the classrooms which has impacted students and staff. The Career Center is closed as well and with the predicted storm during travel times today, I do not want to put our Career Center students on the road coming to school later in the morning. I appreciate your understanding and have a great Spring Break.
Coaching Position Opening - Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach - Employment as a teacher is preferred but not required and teaching positions are available. Coaching experience is mandatory. Please come support the 66th annual Tri-County honors band tomorrow (Sat., Feb. 3rd)! We have 7 Deckerville students participating as well as the best players from high school bands in Huron and Tuscola counties. Concert is @5pm in the Deckerville HS gym. Admission is free, but there will be a "pass the hat" donation.

There will be an afternoon busing change for today (Thursday Feb 1) where we will be merging Mrs. Spencer’s bus 4 onto Mr. Kirkpatrick’s bus 1 and Mrs. Vogel’s bus 3 for today’s route home. We anticipate a 30-min delay in some students coming home, but some bus stops will be normal time or close to normal time. If your child (children) ride bus 1, 3, or 4 and you would like to pick them up after school today to avoid the delay, please contact the elementary office or high school office to make arrangements for student pick-up.
