The Varsity Track Meet in Akron Fairgrove has been canceled this evening. There will be no make date for this event.

Reminder to seniors that the Deckerville Education Foundation Scholarship forms are due by MAY 5TH at the end of the school day to Mrs. Ford, Counselor.

4/25 ELA grades 3-6
4/27 SS grade 5
5/2 Math grades 3-6
5/4 Science grade 5
Teachers in grades 3-6 pushed this communication out to their classroom families as well.

Good evening Deckerville families. There is an illness going through our school community. We have students and parents who are ill. They are exhibiting similar symptoms, which include: feeling lightheaded, fever, throwing up, diarrhea, nausea, stomach ache, etc. If your child is experiencing any flu-like symptoms please keep them home tomorrow (Monday April 17). Students should also remain home for 24 hours after their last vomiting episode. Mr. Kirkpatrick and Mr. Nichol will be utilizing the sanitizing sprayers in the classrooms, media centers, cafeteria, on door handles, bathrooms, and other high touch areas. We are hoping everyone stays well.

Deckerville Elementary students may wear short again on Friday April 14.
Monday April 17 will be in the 40's with a possible chance of snow flurries....students must wear pants of some sort :)

Deckerville Elementary students may wear shorts tomorrow (Thursday) April 13 due to the warm weather. May 1 has been the date that allows students to wear shorts if weather permits. Therefore, from April 13- April 29, the decision on wearing shorts will be made on a daily basis. Thanks in advance.

Skyward Users:
Skyward is requiring a password policy change as part of an update later this month. When you sign in on or after April 14th, it will require you to enter your current password and then force you to change it to a new one. It is recommended that you do this on a computer or chromebook.
The new password must have: 8+ characters, a capital letter, and a symbol
