Good morning. This is Michael Hugan, Superintendent of Deckerville Community Schools. I am calling to inform you that our district will begin food distribution tomorrow, Thursday, March 19th. Further instructions will be posted later today on our website. At this time, we are asking Deckerville Community Schools’ families to contact us if you do not wish to receive meals. If your family does not wish to receive meals, please contact us via e-mail through our Food Service Director, Laura Vogel. Her e-mail address is lvogel@deckerville.k12.mi.us. Again, please e-mail lvogel@deckerville.k12.mi.us if you do not wish to receive meals.

Due to the state mandated school closure, our immediate response is as follows: teachers from kindergarten - 12th grade have put together packets and class related material that can be picked up from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm TODAY (Friday March 13). There will be food available to pick up as well from the HS Cafe for families to take home. As more info from the Dept of Ed and the Governor's Office come in, we can keep you informed.

Deckerville Community Schools will be closed Friday, March 13, 2020. Staff is to report at 8:00 A.M. A state mandated closure will be in effect until April 6th. Watch the school Facebook Page and website for additional information.
