A couple pieces of info for elementary families.
1. Last day for elementary students to wear shorts in school is tomorrow (Thursday) September 30, 2021. Oct 1 = no more shorts until May 1 (depending on weather).
2. Elementary Picture Day is Wednesday Oct 6, 2021. Picture envelopes went home last week, but a reminder will be sent home this coming Monday (Oct 4).

A Deckerville Volleyball Victory!


2020-2021 yearbooks are still available. During the football game this Friday, there will be a yearbook stand selling these books for $45.00. The 2021-2022 yearbook will also be on sale. The 2021-2022 yearbooks will be on sale for $45.00 until September 24th and after that date the 2021-2022 yearbooks will be $50.00.

The homecoming assembly will take place Friday at 1:50 P.M. on the football field. This year the powderpuff football game will be played at 2 P.M. in front of the entire student body. The court will be introduced as well as our fall sports teams. All of the Deckerville community is welcome to join us.

Deckerville Clay Target sign up is open to 6th - 12th graders. If you have a 6th grader that is interested and would like more info, please contact office and we can pass along the contact info. I went into the 6th grade classrooms last week to talk about clay targets. Sign up in due Sept 11, 2021.

*1st day of school is tomorrow Aug 30. Doors open at 7:45am and the regular sxhool days runs from 8:05am-3:00pm.
*When dropping off students in the morning, parents are asked to find a parking space to park in and leave the Fire Lane open.
*Parents can bring their students into the building, as far as the elem office, and we have staff on hand that can direct/escort your child/children to their classroom.
*Students will have universal breakfast/lunch again this year and Mrs. Vogel posted menus. Elementary Students will also eat in their classroom.
*Our district will maintain many of the cleaning protocols that were established last year.
*Students may wear a mask if you feel more comfortable to do so.

The career center begins on Tuesday. Students who attend the career center need to be in their 4th hour class by 10:55 A.M. on Monday.
