Dear School Community,
Demolition has begun on the gym floor. The pieces of the old floor will be small, with the largest pieces about 4 inches wide by 4 feet long, limiting reclamation possibilities. However, we recognize that there is a great amount of interest among alumni and community members in preserving and reclaiming the wood. I am directing that the wood be placed behind the high school gym, to be made available on a first come first serve basis. Please be respectful of others and take only an amount reasonable for a small personal project. Also, please be mindful that many of these boards will contain nails and cleats. Please wear work gloves and proper work clothing when collecting the wood.

Dear Deckerville School Community,
Although school is official "out" for the summer, our facilities will remain open with office hours between 7:30am through 4:00pm on Monday through Thursday throughout the summer. Offices will be closed on Fridays. With the beginning of numerous construction projects, we are asking anyone who needs to physically visit our offices to please call ahead of time in order to check on building access.

Today was the last day of school for the graduating class of 2021. We celebrated with a walk through the school hallways, one last time, then a tailgate party.
